Susan Simone Kang is a graduate of the English Honors Program at SUNY Albany, magna cum laude (1992), Cornell Law School (J.D., 1999), and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (LL.M., 2009). She is admitted to the Bars of Massachusetts (1999), Connecticut (2000), and New York (2001), and to the Federal District Court of Massachusetts.

She practiced corporate, bankruptcy, and immigration law for 12 years. She was also dedicated to academia at the Fletcher School and Boston College Law School, where she served as Director of International LL.M. Programs. She has taught U.S. law and legal writing to a diverse community of U.S. law graduates, veterans, and international lawyers.

Her international career includes extensive travel, teaching, and seminars across South America, Asia, and Europe, working alongside judges, prosecutors, and professors. She lectures fluently in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French.
